At The Cozy Boot, we want you to be completely satisfied with your cozy purchases. If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, we’re here to help with our simple returns and exchanges process.
Our Return Promise
We stand behind the quality of our comfortable products. Most unworn, unwashed items in their original condition with tags attached can be returned within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
How to Return or Exchange an Item
Step 1: Initiate Your Return/Exchange
Please email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with the following information:
Step 2: Wait for Approval
Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please do not send items back without this authorization.
Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return
Once approved:
- Pack items securely in their original packaging if possible
- Include all original tags and accessories
- Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package

Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.
Refund Information
When Will I Get My Refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 3-5 business days after arrival):
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days
- Credit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank
- PayPal refunds are typically processed within 24 hours
What Will Be Refunded?
- The item price will be refunded in full
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Return shipping costs are not refunded unless the return is due to our error
Exchange Information
For exchanges:
- We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive your return
- If the exchange item costs more, you’ll be charged the difference
- If the exchange item costs less, we’ll refund the difference
- Standard shipping rates apply for exchanges unless the original order qualified for free shipping
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following items:
- Crib Shoes (due to safety regulations for infant products)
- Insoles & Accessories (hygiene reasons)
- Any item that shows signs of wear, has been washed, or has removed tags
- Custom or personalized items
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Include photos of the damage or defect
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
- In some cases, we may ask you to return the damaged item
International Returns
For international customers (outside the US):
- All customs fees and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- We cannot refund original shipping costs for international orders
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges
