My husband extends the life of his slippers for years by replacing the insoles with new Uggs insoles. The newest pair is different from what we’ve bought in the past, however – previous inserts were molded with a bit of shape and these are not. They are still a bargain when it comes to replacing expensive slippers. One last thought – they can’t be used in most Ugg slippers because their soles aren’t removable. I wish they would change this design.

I removed the glued-in insoles from my UGG Ascot men’s slippers that had gotten matted. I replaced the original insoles with these replacements. I don’t think UGG suggests this switch (there is some equivocation I read about whether these would actually fit); however, a size 9 fit insole perfectly fit the size 9 slipper. The new insoles do not buckle or shift once in place. You could glue them like the originals, but I see no reason to do so. I am pleased with the replacement and think you will be pleased if you do the same. Plus, I think $20 is a cheap fix to make these [let’s be serious: overpriced] slippers feel brand new.

Perfect for boots and slippers

I ended up with these kind of by accident. I ordered a pair of Women’s Ugg boots that the insole in them was obviously the wrong size. Zappos was out of them in my size, so if I’d sent them back I wouldn’t have gotten another pair, just a refund. Since I absolutely loved the boots, I contacted customer service and they helped me find these insoles to replace the original ones, free of charge of course. Zappos customer service is hands down the best customer of any company I have ever dealt with! They go above and beyond! So I took the original insoles out, trimmed these down just a smidge (because these are men’s and they are wider than women’s) and these are even better than the original insoles! I just got 2 more pairs because I do not want to live without these insoles in my winter boots! I have a lot of boots and as any Ugg wearer knows, the wool does eventually smash down and wear out enough that you do want new ones. I am so thankful that I got a pair of boots that missed QC because I never would have found these!

If you’re an UGGS lover, you will positively LOVE this replacement insoles! Bought these to replace the ratty & worn ones in my husband’s leather UGGS slippers. Bought the same size as the shoes and they fit perfectly – just like the original ones and every bit as comfortable. Also purchased several pair for my own UGGS and the same review applies. So thrilled UGGS recognizes that insoles need periodic replacement and manufacture these. Other companies just rely on replacing anything worn with an entire new shoe. Certainly not environmentally friendly and unnecessarily expensive. Thankyou, UGGS, for your great products and attitude of responsibility for your consumers 🙂

Perfect for ugg insoles. I bought some ugg loafers and my husbands foot kept sliding left and right in them. Put these in and they were much better ????

So disappointed in Ugg. The new inserts are clearly cheaper foam and cheaper construction than the old ones, I can only wonder how much sooner they will wear out. Shame on you, Ugg. Old one is one solid piece of foam that is thicker at the heel and stitched to the sheepskin all the way around (see photo, old vs new). New one is two different foams that are much flimsier and all only glued onto the sheepskin, with raw edges to wear out. The sheepskin is already coming off the edges in spots! So sad when a company makes its name on quality, then abandons it for more profit. Will look for other brand from now on.

I gifted these soles for my husband’s well-worn boots. The boots are about 3 years winters old and the insoles were pretty worn out while the boots had more life left. Just in case, I also gifted a brand new boots for him from other brand so he could choose. Without hesitation, he chose the UGG insoles! He is so happy with them. Thank you, UGG!

Bought these as a Christmas gift and I have been dying to order a pair of my own! Can’t wait to refresh my Uggs!

I ordered these to replace the soles in my Sorel slippers that were peeling. These not only fit the slipper perfectly- they transformed my slippers to a lush bed of comfort. These soles are so soft and cushiony- My opinion of Ugg is forever changed. Buy these- you won’t regret it.

Disappointing. Felt thin, cheap. Not at all like the Ugg shearling replacement insoles I bought last year. Luckily, I still had a pair of those left, so I returned these.

I am rating the insert a 5 star vs. a 1 star which I did in the past as the old pair was horrible it did not even last 60 days. Zappos stood up and gave me a refund and provided a new pair. so far a week later they are great and work well. I am watching them more closely

The last time I purchased these insole from UGG they had arch support and additional padding on the heel. Now, just a piece o’ foam with sheepskin on them. Nice sheepskin but I can get a piece o’ foam with sheepskin on it anywhere. Disappointed.

It’s been awhile since I bought these and idk it’s definitely different than the soles for going up a half size. They seem to be low quality and cheap compared to ones I’ve bought back in the day. Smh….

I had these replacement insoles for about 6 weeks when I noticed that one had failed, probably due to a split on the underseam (see photo). I called in and spoke to a CS rep and her boss who kept telling me:
1. Our procedure for warranty claims is that you have to send the item in before we can replace it.
(But then I can’t use my slippers while you are processing that, can’t I just send you a photo?)
2. As a special one off on this occasion only we will refund the last order so you can then place a new order for the item, and we’ll need a credit card for the new order
(Why are you making this my problem? Why can’t you just issue a credit and account for the replacement against that?)
3. This is our policy.
Good customer service would have gone something like: Can you shoot me a photo……gee, that shouldn’t happen, so sorry for the inconvenience, a replacement is on the way along with a return package. We’d be grateful if you could return the current items so we can figure out why they failed.
Still a big fan of the product – although the replacements better not fail – but just a horrible service experience.
Ronica –
The insoles were not designed to be a replacement for the Men’s Ugg slippers insoles as we thought.
Bex –
I thought I had ordered a woman’s size 10 but received a larger, wider insole. I trimmed away the excess sheepskin and added the insole to my shoes. Perfect fit. I love the feel of soft, fluffy fur beneath my feet.
Mikey –
Every year I put a new pair of these into my favorite winter boots and it’s just like getting new boots every year
David –
Not good at all
Cchuk –
These are not the same quality as the ones that came with the slippers. They are as thick and the shed a lot.
KVW –
Too thin to do anything
Jojo –
I was looking forward to receiving this with my boots but the quality is terrible. Not like the actual Ugg Insoles… More like a shedding dog.
Chris –
They work better in loose fitting casual shoes. I put mine in a pair of Skechers slip-on sneakers and they’re perfect for occasional use without socks. They’ll prob last longer but be less cozy with socks on. Feels almost exactly the same as my Ugg slippers.
Roland T –
I replaced the inserts in my Ugg slippers with these and wow are they comfy & warm. Very pleased!

My Hubster has a pair of ascot slippers that he’s had for two years. The lining has all but fallen apart. I first bought a new pair of slippers, but then stumbled across these inserts! What a difference!! His old slippers feel new and cozy again and he’s got a backup pair for our cabin.
